The Wasa Triathlon would really appreciate your help in making the event as successful as possible. If you can volunteer some time during the triathlon weekend, please contact us. We try our best to show our appreciation of the volunteers' time and effort by providing a souvenir shirt, food and drinks and of course numerous quality draw prizes for volunteers only! |

Saturday |
|||||
| TriKids race volunteer 8:30-1pm: |
Check-in, body marking, transition and course marshaling, food and awards | ||||
Race package pick-up 1:30-4:30pm: |
Greet and meet the athletes, check master list, hand-out race bags and shirts. | ||||

| Racer Check-in 6:15-8:15am: |
Check names on master list, number athletes on arms and legs, wish athletes good luck! | ||||
Parking marshals 6:00-8:00am: |
Direct cars to parking lots, give general directions, welcome athletes | ||||
| Transition and Security marshals 8:00-1:00pm: |
Various roles: direct athletes to the bike and run course, make transition area available to athletes only, cheer on the athletes, communicate with Race Staff, record cyclist laps, timing back-up, collect race timing chips |

| Swim Course Volunteers 7:15-10:00am |
Direct and assist swimmers in the water with canoes and kayaks (some boats will be available-paddlers needed), communicate with the first aid boat if necessary. Some experience with canoes is required. |

Bike Course Marshal 8:00-12:00pm: |
Direct and encourage athletes on the bike course, communicate with Bike Captain | ||||
Run Course Marshal 8:45am - 1pm: |
Direct and encourage athletes on the run course, give runners the right-of-way, stop the odd vehicle if necessary, record athletes at the turn-around point |

Finish line food 9:00-1pm |
Help serve up some fresh fruit and snacks to hungry and happy athletes! No experience necessary ! |
